COVID-19 Safety Information

The health and safety of ASPN members, attendees, industry partners, staff, and guests, is our highest priority. To ensure health and safety best practices are in place to keep our community safe, ASPN is requiring all meeting attendees who are eligible for vaccination be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 consistent with guidelines published by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

While participating in the ASPN 2022 Annual Meeting, we remind all attendees and their guests that, depending on the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, social-distancing and mask-wearing may be required in the meeting space, social events, and in public areas of the Omni La Costa Hotel. ASPN will abide by the most current World Health Organization, U.S. Center for Disease Control, state of California, and local and Omni safety guidelines which are continually evolving as the situation with the virus changes. Despite the many safety precautions in place, you may still become exposed to and/or contract COVID-19. Your participation in the ASPN Annual Meeting at the Omni La Costa Hotel in Carlsbad, California is voluntary.

Effective August 2021: Per revised CDC recommendations, the city of Carlsbad announced a new local health ordnance that requires all individuals, including those fully vaccinated, to wear a mask in public indoor settings. Attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, and guests will be required to wear a mask while attending all activities at the ASPN 2022 Annual Meeting. CDC recommendations and state guidelines are ever changing so we will continue to update safety protocols as these procedures evolve in the coming months.

ASPN is implementing the strictest safety precautions possible to keep meeting attendees safe and looks forward to hosting an outstanding reunion of the hand care community in January 2022. Your personal commitment to adhering to all safety policies is imperative to the health and wellbeing of others attending the ASPN Annual Meeting. Thank you!
